  4.    This application shows IDL's contouring capabilities
  5.    as applied to a global map of elevations.

  12.        Select Quit to exit the Contour demo and return to
  13.        the IDL Demo main screen.

  16.        Select "About contours" for information about the 
  17.        Contour plot demo.

  20.    CONTOUR FEATURES

  23.    <<Basic>> checkbox
  24.        Displays the contour lines  with solid white lines.
  25.  
  26.    <<Colored lines>> checkbox
  27.        Displays the contour lines with solid lines in 
  28.        different colors.
  29.  
  30.    <<Fill>> checkbox
  31.        Fills the areas between the contour lines with 
  32.        different colors.
  33.  
  34.    <<Linestyle>> checkbox
  35.        Displays the contour lines with various linestyles.

  37.    <<Annotation>> checkbox
  38.        Annotates contour lines with their respective 
  39.        values. The "Number of levels" slider is disabled.

  41.    <<Fill and lines>> checkbox
  42.        Displays a filled contour plot with the contour lines
  43.        shown as solid white lines.

  46.        Select the number of contour levels. You can choose 
  47.        7, 11, or 15 levels.
